It’s easy to tell people what to do. The problem, though, is that it’s your idea, your method. That idea or method may not work for the other person.
It’s much harder to listen and ask powerful questions that stimulate reflection and discovery. But from that discovery comes ideas and methods that fit the other person’s uniqueness. Ultimately, this builds ownership and motivation.
